I have been a drum instructor for 25 years. I teach privately at my drum studio in Nazareth PA accepting beginner, intermediate and advance players. It's a passion of mine to pass on this wonderful art of drumming. Besides teaching all the core elements of drumming like technique, reading, rudiments, styles, etc., I also get the students involved on the performance side of drumming. Students will have the ability to record in a studio environment on their favorite songs and/or topics that we are studying at that time. It's a great way to get used to playing with music, clicks and loops and then get a chance to "really" hear your playing. You will also have the chance to record songs and take a professional sounding recording home with you. I found this to be an invaluable tool in the learning process.

Another point I like to make is that the drum lesson is created for the student. I don't fit the student into a pre-fab lesson. Of course when I work with beginners, we start at the beginning but when working with intermediate/advance players, the lesson is molded around their ability at that time as well as what concerns or goals the student has in mind. This is then a lesson or "program" created specifically for that student which will give them the best possible learning experience and more "bang for the buck".

Most students come once a week for an hour lesson. Some students that come from further distances opt for a drum lesson every other week for 2 hours or other scheduling options. Scheduling can always be worked out to fit your needs. I guarantee results and of course fun...
